1. “in full swing” |
Meaning:
Something has begun and is now over halfway through.
Example:
“Chinese New Year is now in full swing.”

2. “half-hearted” |
Meaning:
Doing something without enthusiasm or much effort.
Example:
“It was a half-hearted attempt.”

3.“out with the old, in with the new” |
Meaning:
This idiom is about starting something new whilst getting rid of old things at the same time.
Example:
“This year I’ve decided to go out with the old and in with the new. I’ve sold all of my old clothes and bought new ones.”

Meaning:
You feel like a big change in a positive way is coming soon.
Example:
“After the protests that we saw, I can feel a wind of change coming.”

A person who is innocent and pure.
