Meaning:

Example:

Meaning:
To stop talking
Example:
“John always talks about himself. It’s so annoying, he doesn’t shut up.

3.Frown upon

Meaning:
When talking about unacceptable behavior
Example:

Meaning:
To continue to do a difficult thing
